OPERATIONS
MOBILE, ALABAMA
We operate and maintain a Mechanical Sampling System (MSS) at the Alabama State Docks, McDuffie Coal Terminal, Berth No.1, providing quality and size samples for our customers. Mechanical samples are collected per ASTM, Method D7430, Part A. Our staff is available to sample stockpiles and barges. We also offer barge inspections and draft survey services.
DAVANT, LOUISIANA
At Host’s United Bulk Terminal in Davant, Louisiana, we operate and maintain a PSI Mechanical Sampling System in order to collect quality and raw samples for our customers. Mechanical samples are collected per ASTM, Method D7430, Part A. This location also boasts a Mechanical Part-Stream Sampler (MPS) for backup; therefore, if the MSS should ever be out of service, you can be assured your product is being sampled properly. Samples would be collected per ASTM, Method D6609.
MYRTLE GROVE, LOUISIANA
We operate and maintain two (2) PSI Mechanical Sampling Systems (MSS) at Kinder Morgan’s International Marine Terminal in Myrtle Grove, Louisiana, providing quality and raw samples for our customers. Mechanical samples are collected per ASTM, Method D7430, Part A.
CONVENT, LOUISIANA
At Convent Marine Terminal in Convent, Louisiana, we operate and maintain two (2) Mechanical Sampling Systems (MSS) at Convent Marine Terminal in Convent, Louisiana, providing quality and raw samples for our customers. Mechanical samples are collected per ASTM, Method D7430, Part A.
BURNSIDE, LOUISIANA
We operate and maintain a Mechanical Sampling System (MSS) at Impala’s Burnside Terminal in Burnside, Louisiana, providing quality and size samples for our customers. Mechanical samples are collected per ASTM, Method D7430, Part A.
PABTEX – PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS
Our Port Arthur, Texas, location samples at PABTEX Marine Terminal, as rail cars are unloaded to stockpiles and as vessels are loaded. Preparation of samples can be done onsite at our PABTEX facility. Manual samples are collected per ASTM, Method D6609.
Rainbow – PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS
We operate and maintain our Mechanical Part-Stream Sampler (MPS) at Kinder Morgan’s Rainbow Terminal (Total Refinery) which samples in accordance with ASTM, Method D6609. Preparation of samples can be done onsite at our PABTEX facility.
Valero – PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS
Our Mechanical Sampling System (MSS) at Valero’s Port Arthur refinery collects samples in accordance with ASTM, Method D7430, Part A.
Houston Bulk Terminal – HOUSTON, TEXAS
At the Houston Bulk Terminal, we own, operate, and maintain our Mechanical Part-Stream Sampler (MPS) which is designed to sample per ASTM, Method D6609, for export shipments.
Deepwater Terminal – HOUSTON, TEXAS
We operate and maintain a Mechanical Sampling System (MSS) and two (2) Mechanical Part-Stream Samplers (MPS) at Kinder Morgan’s Deepwater Terminal. These systems allow us to provide quality and size samples for our customers. Mechanical samples are collected per ASTM, Method D7430, Part A.

At Oxbow Marine Terminal in Texas City, TX, we own, operate, and maintain a Mechanical Sampling System (MSS). Mechanical samples are collected per ASTM, Method D7430, Part A.
